Solar Works is a photovoltaic installation company based in Spain. With more than 15 years of experience, the brand needed an update.

The idea was to create a simple yet memorable identity. A vivid color palette reflects the company´s philosophy towards renewable energy.

The overall look & feel comes alive with a series of geometric animations that help to express the company´s evolution after so many years in business.

The concept

The concept is built around the idea of abstraction: how we could create a memorable icon with the use of simple geometric shapes.

The result is a logotype composed of twelve panels located radially forming a circle. This simple idea led to a complex identity system based on simplicity and abstraction: circles, rectangles are the only elements present in the entire identity configuration.

The main colors are a dark blue and yellow which are complemented by a wider range of colors (light blue, orange) to enrich the brand system.

Here comes the sun… and it’s alright

Under the tagline Here comes the sun, the brand breathes simplicity which is reinforced by a high contrast color palette.

The brand system is composed of geometric shapes and forms that represent different sun phases: dawn, horizon, sunset.
