Background

Indipul is an Indonesian relics and ceramics seller in Spain. The challenge was to give the brand a fresh look keeping its unique charm.

The brand system was created through a reinterpretation of the traditional Balinese mask.

A playful typography, vibrant colors, and a strong personality reflects the brand essence.

Naming

The name is based on the owner’s origins: a mixture of both English and Indonesian roots.

Indonesia means Indo (Indian in Latin) and nesos /island/. The word island in Indonesian is spelled Pulau.

Making the long story short, Indipul is a conjunction between Indian and Pulau. The same meaning but with a different flavor.

It must be love, love, love

Above all the brand assets, the most important aspect was the love, dedication, detail and amount of work put into every piece of jewel.

The traditional Balinese mask has big eyes, fangs and usually a crest. These elements are shown in a minimalistic icon which has a hiding heart symbol inside the shape of the face.
